a trip to the ER, 2 Dr visits, a few boxes of kleenex, several dozen squirts of hand sanitizer, lots of doses of tylenol, motrin, antibiotic, breathing meds, albeterol, millions of uses with the bulb syringe, and very little sleep= Kaymie and Porter with RSV! and an ear infection to top it off with our little princess. Poor little kids, they are so sick.
Thank heavens they are on the better end of it. I have found myself singing in the middle of the sleepless nights a few songs like I Need Thee Every Hour, Count Your Many Blessings, A Child's Prayer and am ever so grateful that my little ones are still breathing and finally smiling!

What does not kill us, makes us stronger!
You are a strong mother Mary! Good luck.
Wow! And I was sad when mine had croupe! We are lovin the breathin machine too...I decided after having kids that I no longer enjoy the winter. I curse it infact! Hang in there!
That's too bad...sorry to see your little Princess so sick! Hope things look up soon!
There is just no way to prepare one for motherhood is there? Keep saying 'this too shall pass'
I wish I could spend the day with you tomorrow for your b'day and help you!
WOW!! Two sick kiddos must be really tough! Look at you finding the positive in a really trying situation! I am going to use your strategy of singing uplifting songs when nights seem endless (which will most likely be tonight!).
RSV is no bueno! Our young one has been out of commission for over a week now with a nasty cold but it (thankfully) is NOTHING like RSV! I hope your babies are feeling better soon (and that you start getting more sleep at night!).
Just thinking about you on your b-day. Hope you have a fabulous day. love and miss you, rach
My Kayme also had RSV as a baby she was 7 weeks old...sorry scarey. I am happy all is better now. Good Luck!!
I hate it when the kids get sick especially when they are so little! I hope they get better soon. Spring is almost here!
