SORRY

So we just finished playing a family game of SORRY and I asked the boys if they wanted to make a card for their cousin Austin saying sorry that you broke your arm. Jarom went over to the board and brought me back a card from the SORRY deck. We were all laughing! Seth thought that we should send Austin the real SORRY card for sure. It was quite funny. So here you go Austin- Sorry you broke your arm and got hurt!

Here goes Sarah, first time I've done one of these

THE RULES....list 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names....

3 JOYS- #1 MY hot, handsome, sensitive, caring, loving, wonderful husband Jeff
#2 My 3 boys and little baby girl #3 Working out- it is a must for me as I love how I feel after I did it, how I eat better that day, how I feel rejuevenated afterwards, how it makes me more patient and happy, and how hot it makes me look LOL

3 Fears #1 Scary movies, I just don't do scary anything, I hate having nightmares #2 Not that I really fear it, but I would hate it... loosing Jeff or the kids #3 Not teaching my kids what I was sent here to have them learn

3 Goals #1 Loose all my weight from this pregnancy, hahaha I still have 4 months to go and I am already ready to loose it all, yes all 50 lbs that I am sure I will gain with this just like all of the other pregnancies #2 Beat my last Triathlon time (hopefully Sept 2009 Anthem Sprint Triathlon, as long training doesn't get in the way of the nursing thing) #Be a better, more loving and patient mom, wife, and homemaker by not raising my voice, cooking healthy delicious meals, and keeping to the budget!

3 Obsessions/Collections #1 Working Out, gotta have it! #2 Scrapbooking, although haven't done much of this lately maybe I should say cleaning instead... I kind of become OC about it #3 Reading I think I have read at least 10 books already this summer, I love getting caught up in another world.

3 Random Surprising Facts #1 I bribe my kids with an otter pop for leaving me alone every day so I can get my nap (hey I'm prego and I get up at 5, justification works for me) #2 I talk to Jeff on the phone on average about 10 times a day #3 I could eat a bean burro everday for the rest of my life and still love every bite

I tag Kerianne, Tif H, Becca, Rachel, and Mom

My running days

are over (at least for the next 6 months) I am very sad to admit. I tried running in this mornings workout and decided that my belly is too big to make this running thing comfortable. So I have to resort to walking ughhh. At least I can still workout I guess. MY weight workout hasn't changed yet so I guess thats good and of course I still absolutely love the lap swim. Although this morning the water was so cold. They said it was only 78 degrees (which is 4 degrees cooler than they normally keep it) but it was cold for me and that was after my running/walking workout! Meanwhile I will count down to the days I can run again, and the days that I won't have this added weight :)

Starving for a pet

So the boys "caught" a cricket this morning and proceeded to put it in their little wooden money holder for its cage. Porter came and asked if he could feed it "just a little piece of string cheese". I explained that he could feed it but crickets don't eat cheese, maybe find a little bug for it to eat. For the next hour or so they held their cricket in its "cage" and played on their bed, all the while talking to it and treating it as their pet. I observed bits and pieces of this and decided their was no way this cricket was alive, why hadn't it jumped out of its 2x4 opened "cage". While talking on the phone to Jeff, and explaining their new pet Cricky, he told me about his experience last night of killing this annoying chirping cricket and how after killing him he couldn't find him to dispose of the insect. So too tired to care in the middle of the night, he went back to bed, figuring he would find it and throw it out in the morning. He then informed me that he killed it behind the couch, which is exactly where the boys "caught" their new pet Cricky! Of course it was! I tried explaining to the boys that the cricket was probably dead because it hadn't jumped out and they told me he was sleeping. Well I guess Cricky slept all day. They just took him outside (6pm)holding it and petting it when they asked, mom do you think we should let Cricky go now? I told them yes, he would be better off freed! Porter's reply, "But he is so special to us." Do you think we need a pet?

TUMS

Why is it that the kids think TUMS are candy and I despise the chalk tasting things. Don't you love it when you go to eat one in the middle of the night, after sitting up rather abrubtly, and find out that the bottle is empty (probably because of those candy thinking kids)! Where is your relief when you need it? I do have to say that the Berry flavor is where it is at, no getting the off brand it is even more disgusting. Well I think TUMS and I will be BFF at least in the middle of the night for the next 17 weeks.

Summer time!

Our camera is broken, hopefully we just need a new battery. So be prepared for when we get everything loaded on the computer for some serious catch up. We have really enjoyed summer so far. We have already been out of town for our two neices baby blessings. Seth had a blast staying with Grandma Kaye for several days and getting Shumway cousin time. It is really nice because we have something to do everyday, if we want to. Mondays is our big house cleaning day and sometimes we go to the park. Tuesdays is summer reading program, where this week we got to see an entertaining magic show. Wednesdays we go to the movies at Harkins. Thursday we have storytime, sometimes bowling, and movie under the stars (which we haven't got to yet but are excited to). And Fridays is Fun Park Day, today being Superhero theme and the boys wore a cape. It was two hours long where they had tons of different games by the theme and then the third hour, the zoo comes and brings animals to share. Today they got to pet some snakes and reptiles. We also go to the school for free kids lunches whenever we are out and about, which makes it nice to keep my kitchen clean and the kids love it! I have enjoyed our workout group that meets at 5:15am and does cardio M,W,F and weights T,Th until 6am and then swims. The swimming has been especially wonderful being pregnant! Thank goodness the kids are good about quiet time and mom gets her nap everyday! This weekend we get to go Grandpa Paul's and Grandma Lories... which we are excited about, other the intense heat. Good thing we will be in the pool! I am in no hurry for summer to end, we are lovin it!
