Secret Santa

So Porter's school has a secret Santa shop and he has been saving his pennies. Well today he convinced me to let him take his money to buy stuff so I helped him fill out the form of who to buy for and what the budgeted amount was! When I picked him up from school, the first thing he said when I asked how his day was, was "I bought me a lizard!" I had to laugh... ok so he is five and doesn't quite get that it is Christmas and you don't buy for yourself. BUT I had to give him credit because he did buy his brothers both a little gaget and another gaget to share... SO it must of been with his leftover money right HAHAHA. We are really trying to teach our kids about giving, especially as they get older. Porter got something for his brothers at the grocery store the other day and already told them what it is. Oh it sure makes me laugh,,, but I love the excitement in their eyes when they pick it out, when they wrap it, and when they tell them what it is:)
