So...
Jeff finally hooked up our "new to us computer" and we have sound! It is amazing to be able to hear again. However, he has not been able to find my photo cd to install my pictures ughhhh. I have some cute to pictures to add when that happens... We had a few inches of snow yesterday that was just beautiful, but melted by the end of the day and made a great carwash day today (the best yet!) I really enjoyed our stake conference this past weekend, especially the Sat adult session- this that because there were no kids to struggle with or was it because the session was actually better, hmmm but it is that way every year. Anyway, the adult session had the theme of A Change of Heart. It was so spiritually uplifting and made us really want to do and be better. Then when we came home, we watching Turk's (Jeffs dad who passed away unexpectantly two years ago this month) funeral tape. It was neat because we felt such peace and comfort, instead of pure saddness. For FHE yesterday we had a lesson on the qualities that Turk had and how we can apply them to our lives. He was such an easy going guy, always giving compliments, the life of the party, so fun to be around, full of charity towards everyone, always making others day (even if it is the waitress who he tipped extra high), and just how he lived life to the fullest. We love and miss that guy and want our kids to remember him and how much he loves and adores them. That's all for now.

Cute blog. I can't figure out how to do all the cute backgrounds or music! I am glad we have a way to keep tabs on eachother without letting the years slip by. Great talking to you.
Turk was the best! Nearly two years later, we still haven't been able to watch the funeral tape. It was a wonderful funeral but Rick is not ready to relive it yet.
Oh man Jeanette.. it has brought us such comfort and peace. It is really neat to hear the blessing that Uncle Doug gave too.
Mary-It was so good to hear from you. Your family is adorable. I love your boys. I love the fact that you get to love little boys like I do. You better let me know how three is...I am scared to death about three. By the way, how do you have any time to be so fit and skinny! Keep in touch. We love when people leave comments on our blog. Oh ya, can I tell how many fond memories I have of your family and swimming at your pool. Your family was always so kind to let us use it!!
