Sledding

For Christmas from Aunt Stacie, the boys got a sled and boy did it get used. There is a really awesome hill that we enjoyed going to. The first time I went down I have to admit it was quite a thrill. I was surprised at how fast we were going. You can go double on the sled which is nice since we only have one sled. Such fun things to do in the winter that we weren't use to doing. We like having the season changes, just wish we could of gotten spring this year, not sure where it dissappeared to.

BYU basketball

In January Aunt Heidi and Uncle Bruce took us to a BYU basketball game! The boys were in heaven, but Kaymie couldn't sit still! Brooklyn was very adorable doing her actions to the fight song. It was a fun family time that made us want to go to more games. (just leave Kaymie home in the future)

Scouts

S Man has really enjoyed scouts! He has done great and is setting such a good example for his younger brothers. He has quite the group of boys his age and so I really appreciate all that his leaders do:) Here's to many many many more years of scouting!!

Spring Break

We did some fun stuff over spring break--- one of which we were able to spend a day at temple square. When we went the first time 6 months prior, the museum was closed, so the kids had quite the adventure there this go around. The children's hands on section was a big hit, especially after all of the other things you couldn't touch.

I wish it wasn't so hard to get pictures at the SL temple. I guess because it is so big and there are buildings everywhere around, it doesn't make for enough room for a decent picture, unless of course you have camera skills, in which I wasn't blessed with:) The Beehive house was interesting to the older boys and I, just like I had remembered it being when I was a young girl.

Disneyland

Playing catch up here...
We were able to go on an amazing family vacation to disneyland/california adventure around our spring break. We had been looking forward to it for some time and it was no dissapointment.

We absolutely loved loved the new toy story mania ride, even if it was the longest line we had to wait in (maybe a 1/2 hour). Well worth the wait. I took the boys on tower of terror despite Jeff's advice. Mind you I had never been on it before. Jarom was in tears, Porter wanted to say he liked it, and Seth didn't care for it, but wanted to tell all his friends that he loved it. Thanks to the hard saved Disney Dollars and Christmas money from the folks, it was an awesome vacation!! Disneyland is the happiest place on earth right:)

I just had to post this cute picture of these little dolls! Heidi took these for her mother's day card!

Someday I will catch up on the rest of life, hmmm but not today- it's too beautiful to be inside on the computer!

Seth's Baptism

What a sacred special day! Quite a day for us parents for sure. Let me just say that when I walked into the baptismal font room, the spirit was so strong. It was very neat to see my Seth man baptized and confirmed. I could feel Grandpa Turk and that made it an even more special day. Thanks to his grandparents for coming to support him on this big decision in his life. He said that the water was really cold and that he was glad he only had to go under the water once! Thanks to the cousins and friends that also came, we appreciate your love and support. We're proud of you Seth.

Parents Visit

All of my parents came to visit for Seth's baptism and it was so fun to see them! We enjoyed hanging out. It had been about 6 months since I had seen them and that is far to long in my opinion. When is your next visit? (Sorry I didn't get any of Don... guess you were playing basketball with Seth when the camera came out)
