My mom even emailed me wondered when I was going to update my blog. Well you see, I found the camera cord to charge the battery so now I can take pictures again... but there is none today. It still is your lucky day since I am posting anyway:)
We are moved in and functioning! We even have decorations and pictures on the walls! 3 weeks we've been here now-- WOW time flies when you're having fun! A recap of what's gone on since the move.
-Unpacking of course, but don't worry I saved all the boxes since we are just renting
-Thanks to Mom and Don for helping with the move, I don't think I could of done the drive without the help and thanks to Heidi and Bruce for helping unpack, watch kids, make us yummy dinner
-We absolutely LOVE the nieghborhood!!! The kids have plenty of friends to play with, nice flat sidewalks to ride their bikes, a nice playground in our backyard, and lots of green grass to have fun with. I was really excited to find out how much my next door neighbor and I have in common (triathalons, couponing, making bread, the list just goes on). We have already been working out together in the mornings and let me just tell you it is beautiful here--- nothing like running and biking with gorgeous mountains, the sunrise, the beautiful river along the trail, the big trees, and all of the grass. I feel really blessed to already have such a good friend. We feel like we are where we are suppose to be.
-The boys are adjusting to a bigger school, new friends, new teachers, riding the bus, and all the fun that this school year have to offer. They both have really GREAT teachers in school and primary.
-WE visited temple square and enjoyed showing the kids about the pioneer things they have heard about and now get to see.
-Probably one of the best things so far is our family bike rides! The kids love it and it is such a fun activity together. We are loving the sidewalks, trails, flat beautiful ground.
-We like the house in a lot of ways, but wish we could of brought our house with us
:( It is nice to have the playroom in the basemnent!
-It's been fun to get together with friends and family we haven't seen for a while- old missionary buds, Jeff's cousins, some highschool friends, growing up friends, and of course having Heidi so close!
-The weather has been so nice and I am soaking it in knowing for what comes come Winter. We've had several picinic's outside letting the kids play in the sprinklers and such.
-I went to my first Bunco night here and enjoyed a girls night out!
-Tomorrow we are planning on meeting one of my highschool friends and having lunch up the canyon.
Well there you have it in a nutshell. We miss our family and friends that we moved from, so keep in touch all!
