Porter's Party

We had Porter's dinosaur party and had a blast! We had a coloring contest, played lots of fun dinosaur games, ate cupcakes, opened presents, and best of all in my boys eyes was the pinata (thanks to Aunt Heidi and Stacie) He was so excited all day and just thought it was the best party ever! Thanks to all those that came and shared in his big day! Happy 5th Birthday Porter, we love you!

Heidi's visit

WE sure enjoyed our visit from Aunt Heidi on Friday. The kids loved playing with their cousins and holding baby Brooklyn. She sur is a cutie and full of smiles and grins. Thanks to Heidi and Stacie for all the baby clothes they brought... I think our girl is going to be dressed so cute!

Little Accident

Porter and I were on a mommy date last night. We were stopped at a red light on the highway. The arrow turned to green (we were going straight) when the car behind me rear ended us! I was totally caught off gaurd since there were lots of stopped cars behind us. I was shocked at how much it jolted us and how much damage there was to Jeffs car. The lady was in a rental car and said her foot slipped off the pedal. I kind of think she pushed on the gas too. I contracted the rest of the evening but am fine this morning, other than the neck and back soreness. Poor Porter was scared, but we are just so glad that we are alright and that it wasn't worse. Now to get her insurance to fix all the damages! We just keep saying prayers of thanks that we are alright!

Fred the Lizard

Porter caught a lizard and it became their new pet for a few days. They held it constantly and somehow Seth even managed to sneek it to school. It died yesterday and they buried it. They had so much fun holding that thing and putting it in Jarom's face. They didn't quite understand why mom didn't want it in the house. Seth loved to squeeze him enough so that he would open his mouth and stick out his tongue. They even found a baby cricket to feed it. I guess boys will be boys and I sure love having boys!

Baby Shower

It was so much fun opening up pink and purple things! Thanks to everyone that came and the many gifts for our little girl. We are even more anxious for her arrival now. The food was delicious- thanks to all those who helped out! I love you guys. I wish I would of taken more pictures!

Seth Firsts

Seth lost his first tooth!

He told us Sunday before 2:00 church that his tooth was loose and by the time it was dinner, he had wiggled it out! We were quite amazed that he accomplished this FIRST so well and actually got it out himself! He was so excited that the tooth fairy brought him quarters under his pillow.

Seth learns to ride a bike!

So the neighbor 3rd grade boy took off the training wheels to this little bike and Seth hopped on and away he went! We've tried working with him on his big bike, but maybe he needed a little bike to catch on. He is loving it! Now Porter is wanting to learn too, but Seth won't ever let him on the "little" bike. Way to go Seth!
