Happy Birthday Jeff

Jeffs turns the big 31 today and gets to celebrate by going to Scout Day Camp, a baptism, and and elders quorum activity! I guess that's what you get when you have 3 callings!! We had his favorite dinner last night of crock pot pork chops with gravy sauce over mashed potatoes and for dessert he wanted Icecream Snickers bars. The boys were more excited for his birthday than I think he even was, but couldn't understand why nobody was coming for a party:) Happy Birthday Babe!

Porter's first day of Preschool

Well his first day this year! This is actually his fourth year, thanks to mom who taught preschool and he got to join in on the fun and the fact that he misses the deadline for kindergarten by 23 days. He has been really excited and has said several times how excited he was to meet his teacher and see who his new friends were going to be. He will get speech through the preschool and is quite happy he gets to ride the bus. Jarom on the other hand was very sad that Porter was going to preschool. He cried for him all the way home and kept asking for him. Porter wasn't at all sad to see me leave, I can't wait for him to come home and tell me all about it! Oh he is growing up too fast! He sure looked so old all dressed and ready for "school" with his backpack on. He will only go three days a week, thank goodness cause I don't think I could handle him being gone more than that.

Cluff Family Reunion

I am late in posting... but we had a blast in the mountains. It was so nice that the boys just played away and I didn't have to watch them every second of the day. We enjoyed seeing all of the family and spending time catching up.
Here is Porter with his painted Pirate face doing his temple block craft which he absolutely loved! He sure loves doing crafts.

Seth also wanted a Pirate face. He and Cambry were quite the buds. The sandbox is always a hot spot to play.

Jarom had to get in on the fun by doing a temple block. He just didn't want any help from me!

Jarom's in a BIG Bed!

We weren't planning on transitioning him to a big bed until after baby since he was still doing so good and going to bed so easily... I was not willing to give that up:) BUT after reunion he hasn't been doing well at all going down and so last night we put him in the big bed and he slept through the night!! I put him down for his nap in the big bed too and he went right to sleep... hopefully it lasts!! Now I can make the nursery into baby GIRLS room :)

First Day of School

Seth started 1st grade today and wasn't thrilled at all to go. I would post a picture, but you see Seth wouldn't let me take one... maybe tomorrow morning he will. I think the fruit roll up in his lunch was what got him there! Since we missed meet the teacher night because we were at my family reunion, he was a little more apprehensive about going. I think he warmed up fast and was glad to see some familiar faces. When I picked him up (after counting the hours down, I have a hard time letting him go, I think I'd rather he stay with me forever) he said, "Mom, it's so different... we don't have green lights we have white lights!" I thought it was rather cute since the difference wasn't that big, but to him it was. We look forward to a hopefully wonderful year! Porter can't wait to start preschool and Jarom keeps asking where his backpack is. Oh the joys of school!
