What's been going on...
No pictures this time. I have been reading the 3 book series of Sarah Prine (thanks Andrea, I am loving them) IT is very interesting and has given me a lot of appreciation of the early Arizona pioneers, from a non LDS point of view. I made cinnamon rolls yesterday that are absolutely delicious! I was really wanting them and glad they hit the spot. So I ran a full three miles today (thanks Kerrianne), it has been a few weeks since I have ran all 3 (2 miles has felt just fine :) and I could really tell, especially since it was a bit nippy outside. The weather is really nice today, but has been raining off and on the last few days. I love the rain, because my hubby gets to come home a little earlier. Jarom sure is talking more now and I love to hear is sweet little voice. Seth is loving basketball and looks forward to every game and practice. Porter is doing great in speech and has really come along there. I was able to scrapbook last week and got some great layouts done and had wonderful company, it was just like old times. That is about all that is going on here!

Hockey Game
We had a blast at the hockey game last night! Our seats were great and the action was packed! The first 4 seconds of the game there were 2 fights, which I could barely watch. I hate fighting and wish they just played the game! The boys enjoyed cheering them on and watching us win! the team has been here for a few years, they are a semi pro hockey team that play in our new event center. We are getting an indoor football team too. I think I will enjoy that a little more than the fighting. It's fun that we have concerts, the circus, and big things that come to our "small town". The blue man group was just here and Alan Jackson comes next month.

After school snack

I caught my boys sitting down to what they chose as their after school snack... a carton of cool whip! Seth and Porter both had spoons inside the carton when Jarom pushed a chair over to the silverware drawer to get himself a spoon to add to the fun. Once Jarom saw that I got the camera out he yelled CHEESE until I came over and took his picture! Oh they keep me laughing!

Seth's first BB Game

It was so much fun watching him play basketball... there aren't really any rules (except out of bounds), they just try to let them learn how the game goes. Each player wears a colored sweat band on their wrist to identify who they gaurd for man to man defense. So it was quite hilarious to watch them travel, double dribble, or just walk down the entire court with the ball. Seth is really quite the baller and even scored 4 baskets! Jarom loves sitting in the stands cheering him on, GO GO he says. Daddy was even able to take time away from the carwash to be there for his first game.

Porter's Speech
Porter goes to speech at the school once a week for a half an hour with Miss Katie who is so much fun and really good with the him. He gets to do all kinds of fun stuff and even gets to chew bubble gum for part of his homework. Porter has trouble articulating sounds because of weak muscles so we have lots of fun and entertaining exercises he does every night. Every week he gets a new straw and a new horn which both help strengthen his mouth muscles. Some of his exercises are shown in the slide show.

Happy Anniversary

and 3 kids later! Oh how time flies and how I am more in love with my babe than I ever thought was possible. We enjoyed a romantic evening together reminicing our wedding day. We went to Olive Garden and savored over the salad and breadsticks, Tuscan Garlic Chicken, and Chicken and Gnocchi Veronese. It was so ummm delicious.

New Year's Goal

So we sat down yesterday and typed out all of our 2008 goals. We always make family, individual, and couple goals. Well Jeff thought it would be a good idea if we each picked a goal that someone else needed to work on lol... he chose for me- not to stress about keeping the playroom clean, that it is a play room! Well here are some pictures to show how well I am doing at this goal (we won't mention the others :) And I don't think this picture quite does justice for the real thing.

New Year's Eve
So I had lots of good intentions to take pictures of our fun night... the camera never saw light ughhh. We had a blast eating taco salad, munchies, and of course the triffle I made. We played a newlywed game where the hostess couple made up several questions, very good ones, and we had to answer them right according to how our spouse answered. I think I now have a 6 pack from laughing so hard! Jeff and I actually won and got a nice romantic box. We played Scene It Squabble, that was very fun although us girls got our cans whopped. Thanks Jared and Meghan for the fun times! Yeah for 2008!
